These terms govern your use of RubricPal at rubricpal.com. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
RubricPal generates suggested scores and feedback for essays using AI. Results are suggestions to support your professional judgment. You are responsible for reviewing them and for any grades you give.
Your content
You keep all rights to the essays, rubrics and notes you upload. You confirm you have the right to upload them (for example, as the student's teacher) and grant us permission to process them only to provide the service.
Credits and payments
- One credit grades one essay. If an analysis fails, the credit is returned automatically.
- Essay Pack credits do not expire. Monthly plan credits reset each billing period and do not roll over.
- Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- If you're unhappy with a purchase, contact us within 14 days and we'll make it right.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break or overload it, no unlawful content, and no reselling access without our agreement.
Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for decisions made based on generated feedback.
Changes
We may update these terms and will notify account holders of significant changes by email.
